June 2- Get your tickets to ride the Pere Marquette 1225 Steam Engine Train heading to Back to the Bricks- Cadillac on June 6th!
June 3- Join Art Reach of Mid Michigan for their Let’s Do Lunch program featuring Mina Son.
June 4- Stop by The Farmer’s Market summer opening in Island Park for some fresh produce!
June 5- Head to Island Park for the 31st Annual Summer Festival with carnival rides, flea markets and more.
June 7- See the classic cars at Rods in the Park as part of Mt. Pleasant Summer Festival.
June 8- Stop by Coldwater Lake and enjoy their new boat launch for a day on the water.
June 10- Visit the Central Michigan University Art Gallery and see their latest exhibit.
June 11- Hop on your bike and enjoy a ride through a park or Downtown.
June 12- It’s the first day of Le Tour de Mont Pleasant as racers ride the Time Trials at Central Michigan University.
June 13- Today the kids can enjoy a day of aviation with the Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum at the Woodruff Lake Airport in Winn, MI. Also the second day of Le Tour de Mont Pleasant includes a kid’s race at Island Park, and the final road race starting at Mid Michigan Community College. Good luck racers!
June 14- Spend today exploring Downtown Mt. Pleasant and the Festival of Banners. With boutiques for shopping, locally owned restaurants, and parks there is something for everyone.
June 15- Let the kids blow off some steam with arcade games at Cyber Quest.
June 16- Have a date night with putt-putt golf and ice cream at The Golf Center.
June 17- Catch a Great Lakes Loons baseball game at Dow Diamond!
June 18- Head to Downtown Mt. Pleasant for the first Max and Emily’s Summer Concert of 2015 as The Kruger Brothers return for a night of fun and music.
June 19- Hit the greens at Riverwood Resort and try the new phenomenon that is footgolf!
June 20- Make a splash while tubing or canoeing the Chippewa River with friends and family!
June 21- Happy Father’s Day! Spend today with Dad grilling at a Mt. Pleasant area park.
June 22- If you roller blade or skate board, Island Park skate park is the perfect place to try new tricks and jumps.
June 23- See the “International Children’s Books: Celebrating the Recent Gifts” exhibit at the Clark Historical Library on the campus of CMU.
June 24- A Summer of comedy hits Central Michigan University’s Summer Theater. See Don’t Dress for Dinner in Bush Theater at 7:30 p.m.
June 26- See another comedy at Central Michigan University as Summer Theater presents: One Slight Hitch. Performed in Bush Theater at 7:30 p.m.
June 27- Spend today getting a bargain during the Citywide Garage Sales!
June 28- The third comedy as part of Central Michigan University Summer Theater premieres Jerry Finnegan’s Sister in Bush Theater at 2:00 p.m.
June 29- Looking for a challenge? Take on the CMU Climbing Wall inside Finch Fieldhouse.
June 30- Head to the Ziibiwing Cultural Center to learn about local Native American history and heritage.
July 2- Welcome athletes of the Michigan Amateur Softball Association as they compete on the local fields in the Mt. Pleasant area. Good luck to all the teams!
July 3- Take the kids to Island Park and have fun in the water at the Spray Park.
July 4- Happy Independence Day! Don’t miss the fireworks show at Soaring Eagle Casino.

July 28- Grab some friends and head over to Island Park for sand volleyball.

July 31- Come light up Downtown Mt. Pleasant with the Glow in the Art 5k, followed by a painting of the intersection of Main and Broadway as part of Art Walk Central. Check in begins at 8:30 p.m. The race starts at 10 p.m.
Aug. 1- Join Art Reach of Mid Michigan as they paint the intersections as part of Art Walk Central. Then grab a chair or blanket and head to City Hall for the first Movies by Moonlight of 2015! Tonight’s movie will be Disney’s Cinderella.
Aug. 2- Visit Outback Riding Stables for horseback riding or lessons.
Aug. 3- Stay active this summer and walk the track at Morey Courts for only $1.
Aug. 4- Learn how to make chalk art pieces with Art Walk Central’s Chalk Workshop.
Aug. 6- Join Art Walk Central for their Poetry Slam.

Aug. 10- Art Walk Central celebrates A Day of Anishable Art with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe.
