Drawing Upside Down: Having the Eyes of an Artist 5:45pm - 7:15pm
Think you can't draw? The problem isn't with your hands. It's all about learning how to see! My approach to teaching art techniques with children is all about how I see and take in the world. I like to laugh, make fun and play with art. The less seriously it is approached, themore genuinely surprising it can be not only to the artist, but the viewer. My five classes are based on skills: color mixing, contour drawing, shading, story telling, and portraits. But, for example, instead of just teaching the students how to make "orange," I think it is much more interesting to also try their hand at matching their own skin tone. This event will be held at the Art Reach Center. Please call (989) 773-3689 for more information.
