The Dickens Christmas Festival is held annually in historic downtown Mt. Pleasant, taking place the first weekend in December. Join in on the Holiday Spirit with horse-drawn carriage rides through streets lined with hundreds of luminaries, carolers, trolley light tours, a live nativity scene, complimentary refreshments, a Lighted Christmas Parade and of course, Old St. Nick!
Come and wander the streets of downtown Mt. Pleasant as the glow of holiday lights settles upon the city with the scent of pine boughs, roasted almonds, and kettle-corn floating in the air and the sound of carolers and holiday merrymakers accompanying your stroll.
Food and entertainment will fill the area with sights and smells that take you back to another era.
Stop by Santa’s House, give him your wish list and visit with his live reindeer. Enjoy hot chocolate while stopping by one of the many warming stations. Pleasant, there is something for people of all ages to do.
