The Dickens Christmas Festival is held annually in historic downtown Mt. Pleasant, taking place the first weekend in December. Join in on the Holiday Spirit with horse-drawn carriage rides through streets lined with hundreds of luminaries, carolers, trolley light tours, a live nativity scene, complimentary refreshments, a Lighted Christmas Parade and of course, Old St. Nick!

Come and wander the streets of downtown Mt. Pleasant as the glow of holiday lights settles upon the city with the scent of pine boughs, roasted almonds, and kettle-corn floating in the air and the sound of carolers and holiday merrymakers accompanying your stroll.

Whether it be the Lighted Christmas Parade, a pancake breakfast, crafts at the library, music at local businesses, or strolling through boutiques in downtown Mt. Pleasant, there is something for people of all ages to do.
