Old Fence Rider's Historical Center:
Located in Edmore on M-46, 35 minutes southwest of Mount Pleasant. Museum of American history: Historical Flags, Barbed Wire and Fencing collection, Native Americans, Civil War, telephone office, Grandma's Attic, The Old West with Chuckwagon, 50s Memories, Drug Store and Millinery Shoppe. Dow Gardens:
Located in Midland 30 minutes east of Mount Pleasant. This unique display of local natural history of the Mid-Michigan area has more than 1700 varieties of plants and trees.
