Sept. 12- Hit the Chippewa River for a tubing trip while the weather is still beautiful!

Sept. 13- Enjoy breakfast at the For Good Forever Breakfast, hosted at Comfort Inn by the Mt. Pleasant Community Foundation.

Sept. 14- Visit the Isabella Fairgrounds for the weekly Flea Market, which takes place every Wednesday from May-October.

Sept. 15- Head to Island Park for the Mt. Pleasant Farmers’ Market from 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. to find fresh, locally grown produce, flowers, and homemade goods. You can also see the Mountain Town Singers at Veterans Library, starting at 7:00 p.m.

Sept. 17- Today you can visit the Museum of Cultural and Natural History on the campus of CMU for free with the kids as a part of Kids and Culture from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. You can also enjoy a pre-game Tailgate Village performance from Jedi Mind Trip before you cheer on the CMU Chippewas as they face off against UNLV at 3:00 p.m.

Sept. 18- Travel from porch to porch between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. in Mt. Pleasant to enjoy great musical performances as a part of Porchfest.

Sept. 19- Head over to a local Chippewa River District Library to check out a new book, CD, movie, or video game.

Sept. 20- Cheer on Sacred Heart Academy’s Varsity Volleyball team as they face Breckenridge tonight at 5:30 p.m.

Sept. 21- Enjoy a game of putt-putt and maybe even grab some ice cream from The Golf Centergolf center ice cream

Sept. 22- Check out Helios Art Gallery in Downtown Mt. Pleasant and see the work of local and student artists.

Sept. 23- There’s tons to do in Mt. Pleasant today! Grab your running shoes for the Into The Light Cancer Walk, get out and play at the Discovery Museum and Morey Courts for the 4th Annual Worldwide Day of Play, and cheer on Mt. Pleasant High School at their Homecoming parade and game.

Sept. 24- Today you can attend Zonta Applefest at Papa’s Pumpkin Patch, the 9th Annual Art From our Parks at Deerfield Nature Park, and see Central Michigan Mayhem’s roller derby competition.

Sept. 25- See a live performance of La Cage Aux Folles at the Broadway Theatre.

Sept. 26- Take in the brisk fall air with a zip-line adventure at Snow Snake.

Sept. 27- Try a game of footgolf at Riverwood Resort.

Sept. 28- Stop by Doozies for some delicious soft serve or an arctic swirl one last time before they close for the season!

Sept. 29- See musician Chris Lane perform live at Wayside Central.

Sept. 30- Head to Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort to see Flo Rida live in concert. You can also cheer on Sacred Heart Academy at their Homecoming parade and game.

Oct. 1– Today CMU faces off against their rival, Western Michigan University at Kelly/Shorts Stadium and you won’t want to miss the pregame Tailgate Village performance by Cadillac West before kick-off.

Oct. 2– Hit the greens at one of the area’s local golf courses for a round of fall golf before the courses close for the season!

Oct. 3- Shop Downtown Mt. Pleasant for the latest fall fashions and décor.

Oct. 4- Stock up on CMU gear at the bookstore before Homecoming, this weekend!

Oct. 5- Check out the Frankenstein: Penetrating the Secrets of Nature exhibit at Park Library, on the campus of CMU.

Oct. 6- Get outside today for a mushroom hunt at Meridian Park or do some networking at the Chamber of Commerce Community and Business Expo at Comfort Inn.

Oct. 7- Visit Uncle John’s Cider Mill for fresh apples, donuts, and cider!

Oct. 8- It’s Homecoming season! Enjoy the Homecoming parade on Main Street, pre-game Tailgate Village performance by Paddlebots, and then cheer on the Chippewas at their Homecoming football game. You can also head to Downtown Mt. Pleasant for the annual Fall Open House, see Jason Derulo live at Soaring Eagle, or check out the Ace Race Disc Golf Tournament.

Oct. 9- Kayak or canoe the Chippewa River and explore the changing fall colors.

Oct. 10- Get on your blue and gold and cheer on Mt. Pleasant High School’s Boys Varsity Soccer team at their 5:00 p.m. home game.

Oct. 11- See the art work of Katie Chichester at Art Reach in the Morey Family Gallery.

Oct. 12- Visit Bucks Run for a round of mini golf on their natural grass, 18-hole putting course.

Oct. 13- Head to Bush Theatre on the campus of CMU for the University Theatre’s performance of Shooting Star at 7:30 p.m.

Oct. 14- Have a laugh with Gabriel Iglesias at Soaring Eagle Casino, enjoy an Evening of Laughter at the Discovery Museum, or visit Art Reach and Helios art galleries, which will be open late and serving refreshments on the second Friday of each month!fall color tour

Oct. 15- Take in the beautiful fall colors on the Steam Engine Color Tour from Mt. Pleasant to Cadillac. You can also take the Kids to Art Reach for a free activity as a part of Kids and Culture from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Oct. 16- Enjoy a CFX featured Sunday movie at Celebration Cinema for just $4.95.

Oct. 17- Get ready for Halloween and find a spooky costume by shopping some of the local Halloween stores.

Oct. 19- Stop by Papa’s Pumpkin Patch and pick a pumpkin to carve for Halloween!

Oct. 20- Take a walk or bike ride along the GKB Riverwalk Trail and take in the cool fall breeze and beautifully changing leaves along the riverside.

Oct. 21- Looking for a good scare? Head to Terror on 27, one of the best haunted house attractions in Michigan, located just outside of Mt. Pleasant on US-127!

Oct. 22- See Vince Gill live at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort.

Oct. 23- Get active at the Student Activity Center.

Oct. 24- Take your dog for a walk and some fresh air at Hannah’s Bark Park.

Oct. 25- Visit the Tatsuki Hakoyama Art Exhibit at Park Library on the campus of CMU.
