May 28 – Happy Memorial Day! Celebrate and honor veterans at the Memorial Day Parade on Broadway Street in Downtown Mt. Pleasant. Parade begins at 10 a.m.

May 29 – Calling all trivia nerds! Grab some friends and head to Hunter’s Ale House for pizza and trivia night! Every Tuesday!

May 30 – So we can’t call Ripley’s Believe it or Not, because… they wouldn’t believe that the Iron Giant: Signature Edition will be playing TONIGHT at Celebration! Cinema Mt. Pleasant!

May 31 – Celebrate Special Olympics Michigan’s 50th Anniversary and the kickoff of State Summer Games by cheering on athletes, volunteers, chaperones and staff at the Opening Ceremony and Parade of Athletes at Kelly/Shorts Stadium!

June 1 – Three cheers for Friday and three great events! Grab some grub at the first Food Truck Friday at Central Michigan University Research Corporation, celebrate #NationalDonutDay with a sweet treat from Cops & Doughnuts – Central Precinct AND put on your dancing shoes for a live performance from Jedi Mind Trip at SOMI State Summer Games’ Closing Ceremony at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.

June 2 – This year, we’re painting not one, but TWO intersections in Downtown Mt. Pleasant. Come check out the action at the corners of Main & Broadway AND University & Broadway.

June 3 – Have a blast at Coldwater Lake for a day at the beach and to check out the updated playground!

June 4 – Treat yourself to a day of relaxation and schedule a spa day at Herbs, Etc.

June 5 – Check out decorated banners around town during Art Reach’s Festival of Banners.

June 6 – Have some fun with friends and head to the Skate Park inside Island Park.

June 7 – Today is the first Thursday Farmers’ Market of the year! Head to Island Park for fresh produce, flowers and homemade goods.

June 8 – It’s back! Check out the Back to the Bricks Promo Tour stopping in Mt. Pleasant today!

June 9 – Try some of the finest beer and wine crafted in the great state of Michigan at the Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival in Downtown Mt. Pleasant. In the morning, join the EAA Chapter 907 at the Mount Pleasant Municipal Airport for free airplane rides (registration required). After, head to Isabella County Fairgrounds for Circus Pages. It’s also free fishing weekend! Grab your pole and head down to the river or a local lake or some fishing and relaxation (June 9-10).

June 10 – Have some fun with local talent at the 2018 Porchfest.

June 11 – Bump! Set! Spike! Monday Night Drop-in Volleyball at Morey Courts Recreation Center.

June 12 – Get ready for a night of fun with Kevin Kammeraad & The Cooperfly Puppet Troupe at Chippewa River District Library.

June 13 – Head to Mountain Town Station for sushi night.

June 14 – It’s that time again… Thrilling Thursday is back with Yogapalooza! in Downtown Mt. Pleasant. Enjoy a relaxing flow in Town Center with RedBloom Yoga and learn from our local health experts Pure Vitality Juice Bar & Spa, GreenTree Cooperative Grocery and more!

June 15 – Laugh it up with Comedy at the Course at PohlCat Golf Course. Celebrate National Photography Day by exploring our beautiful community and sharing photos of your adventure! Tag @mtpleasantcvb and use #MtPleasantMI. It’s National Flip Flop Day! Head to Tropical Smoothie between 2 and 7 p.m. to receive a free 16oz Sunshine Smoothie when you wear flip flops. 

June 16 – In the morning, check out Kids and Culture at the Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum. Love animals? Head to Island Park for Zoo in the Park featuring a petting zoo with over 20 animals, crafts, games, face painting and more!
