June 7- Art Reach of Mid Michigan’s Festival of Banners has kicked off! Check out hundreds of hand painted banners around town.

June 8- Head to Island Park from 7:30 am to 2 pm for the weekly Farmers’ Market. Tonight you can also grab dinner at Pixie while enjoying one of their classic car summer cruise nights!

June 9- Bring the kids to the grand opening of the new Timber Town 2.0 play scape at Island Park. You can even enjoy a celebratory cookout, starting at 6 pm. The Isabella County Fairgrounds will also be hosting Page’s Circus this weekend!

June 10- Today is the Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival! Head to Downtown Mt. Pleasant to try over 27 different brews, ciders, and meads from all over Michigan. You can also enjoy paddle sports day from 10am – 2pm at Deerfield Nature Park all day and take a moonlight paddle with Chippewa River Outfitters and the Chippewa Watershed Conservancy.

June 11- It’s free fishing weekend! Grab your pole and head down to the river or a local lake for some fishing and relaxation.

June 12- Are you a history buff? Check out The Soo Locks in Photos Exhibit at Clark Historical Library, on the campus of Central Michigan University.

June 13- Today and every Tuesday, you can get active at Morey Courts for just $5 after 4 pm.

June 14- You and your furry friends are invited to the patio at Hunter’s Ale House for Taps for HATS. A portion of all sales goes directly to the local Humane Animal Treatment Society (HATS).

June 15- Head Downtown today from 6-8 pm for Thrilling Thursday- Yogapalooza, where you can enjoy free yoga, food, smoothies, and more.

June 16- Today kicks off the Ultimate Strike Zone Baseball Tournament, head to Island Park and other local baseball diamonds to catch the games and cheer on the athletes.

June 17- Take the kids to the Discovery Museum from 10 am – 12 pm for a free Kids and Culture event

June 18- Happy Father’s Day! Cool off at Hunter’s Ale House during their Father’s Day Beer Brunch Buffet from 10 am to 2 pm.

June 19- Rock out with Avenged Sevenfold at Soaring Eagle Casino tonight.

June 20- Check out the Unforseen Dimensions Art Exhibit at CMU’s Park Library.

June 21- Happy first day of summer! Cool off at the Spray Park at Island Park or see For The Love of Juliet at Bush Theatre, tonight at 7:30 pm.

June 22- Bring your bikes and make downtown your destination tonight for Thrilling Thursday- Let’s Ride. You can also catch Netflix’s Here Comes the Funny Tour at Soaring Eagle Casino.

June 23- Do some discount shopping around town today during the city-wide garage sales.

June 24- Grab your bike and join in or cheer on the athletes competing in the Sweat Shaker Mountain Bike Race at Mid-Michigan Community College, Harrison campus. You can also see Journey at Soaring Eagle Casino for a live outdoor concert tonight!

June 25- Cheer on the athletes competing in the Pastime softball Tournaments this weekend. You can also catch a showing of Twain by Tale at 2 pm in CMU’s Bush Theatre.

June 26- See Lionel Richie live at Soaring Eagle Casino tonight.

June 27- Cool off with a refreshing Nitro Brew coffee from Narrativality Coffee Roasters

June 28- Go on an adventure today and check out the covered bridge at Deerfield Nature Park.

June 29- Head downtown tonight for two great events- Thrilling Thursday- Scavenger Hunt and see Brandon Ray live in the streets of Downtown Mt. Pleasant for a Max & Emily’s Summer Concert.

June 30- Today kicks off the Rosebush 4th of July Celebration! Head to Rosebush this weekend for free family movies, a car show, kids games, a tractor pull, and of course fireworks on July 2nd. You can also catch Vince Neil of Motley Crue at Soaring Eagle Casino tonight.

July 1- There’s lot’s to do in Mt. Pleasant today! Cheer on the athletes participating in the MASA Softball Tournament at various fields in town, head to Coldwater Lake Family Park for their Bike Parade, see Skid Row at Soaring Eagle Casino, or catch Soaring Eagle’s free firework show at dusk.

July 2- See Three Dog Night and Creedance Clearwater Revisited live at Soaring Eagle or enjoy their big Fourth of July firework show at dusk. 

July 3- Summer time means ice cream and the best local place to get ice cream is Doozies! Head there today for a dole whip or arctic swirl. 

July 4- Happy Independence Day! Celebrate today with friends and family.

July 5- Enjoy a date night at Fireside Grille in Shepherd. Every Wednesday they offer 2 entrees and a bottle of wine for $40!

July 6- It’s Thrilling Thursday! Come downtown for a fun Bugs R Us night and learn about different bugs. You can also catch Lindsey Buckingham, Christine Mcvie, with special guest The Wallflowers at Soaring Eagle Casino. 

July 7- Race over to the Mt. Pleasant Speedway tonight for their weekly Friday night race.

July 8- Weidman Days kicks off this weekend- enjoy a car show, food vendors, and tons of festival activities! The kids can also have some fun and learn how various animals build in the wild at Veteran’s Memorial Library during Animal Architects at 1 pm. 

July 9- The kids will love the live demonstrations today at the Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum during Science Sunday from 1-2pm. You can also head to Island Park for the Chippewa Water Festival, which will feature bands, kids activities, art and farm vendors, and of course a celebration of water. 

July 10- Get creative at Veteran’s Memorial Library for Painted Turtle Pottery Painting at 6pm. 

July 11- Happy 7/11 Day! Head to a local 7-Eleven for a free slurpee. 

July 12- The streets of downtown are lined with hand painted adirondack chairs, tables, benches and more all created by local artist for Art Flair (Chair Affair) – take a stroll through town and check them out! 

July 13- It’s time for another Thrilling Thursday, this time we’re having Fun with Veggies! You can also see Kelley Hunt preform live in the streets of downtown, presented by Max & Emily’s Summer Concert Series. 

July 14- Head to CMURC this afternoon for their weekly Food Truck Friday, where you can try a variety of local food truck fare! 

July 15- Do you love classic or unique cars? Then the Downtown Car Show today is for you! Head downtown between 8am and 3pm for this free event. You can also see Weezer live tonight at Soaring Eagle Casino. 

July 16- Today kicks off the Triple Crown Baseball Tournament, head to Island Park and other local fields to catch a game!

July 17- Visit the Ginkgo Tree Bed and Breakfast and Adelaide’s Bistro for lunch or dinner on their back patio, which is seated along the Chippewa River. 

July 18- Enjoy $2 Tour Tuesdays at the Museum of Cultural and Natural History and check out the Great Lakes Adventure exhibit from 10am-11am.

July 19- Feeling adventurous? From 6-10pm you can try out the climbing wall and ropes course at CMU’s Finch Fieldhouse

July 20- Tonight’s a busy night in Mt. Pleasant! You can head downtown from 6-8pm for Thrilling Thursday- Mad Science Fair, see The Saucecats! live downtown during another Max & Emily’s Summer Concert, or see Keith Urban live at Soaring Eagle Casino for an outdoor concert. 

July 21- Take a stroll through Downtown Mt. Pleasant to shop for summer fashion and decor.

July 22- Have a spooktacular time at the July Spooktacular at Coldwater Park. Decorate campsites starting at 3 pm on Friday and enjoy Camp-N-Treating on Saturday.

Sep. 1- Take the kids to check out some of the new exhibits and hands-on activities at the Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum.

Sep. 2- Check out Yoder’s Amish Quilt Auction and Flea Market this weekend in Clare. 

Sep. 3- Rock out with Five Finger Death Punch at Soaring Eagle Casino. 

Sep. 4- Enjoy the warm weather while you can with lunch on Max & Emily’s patio.
