Artist Talk & Opening Reception

January 11, 2018

6-8pm Park Library Baber Room

The geometric motifs provide compositional structure, to anchor the otherwise limitless atmospheres.   In nature, atmosphere and geometry are opposites. In the paintings, they are merged in an interrelationship in which neither atmosphere nor geometry wins the battle for dominance.

— B. B. Winslow

Winslow earned his MFA in painting from Pratt Institute, and his BFA from CMU. He recently retired after 29 years at the Midland Center for the Arts, Midland, Michigan, where he served as Director and Curator of the Alden B. Dow Museum of Science and Art.
