Man vs. Mountain: Feb. 2, 2019
One of the most popular sporting activities today is the 5K race. They happen through out the country and come in all different themes. Runners get splashed with color, escape from zombies, dress as a specific decade, and commonly end with a party at the finish line. In Mt. Pleasant, MI however, they take the 5K race and amplify it. By adding obstacles and hosting the race during the month of February, the Man Vs. Mountain 5K is not a race to be messed with.
Man vs Mountain challenge is a unique winter 5K obstacle course that challenges participants to brave Michigan’s brutal elements and go beyond the average obstacle course. Run, climb and jump your way through obstacles that are strategically placed along the course. The challenge begins in front of Nelson Park in Mt. Pleasant and will take you through Mt. Pleasant’s beautiful park system. Participants must be 12 years of age or older.
